Chaillu mining company (M2C), the local company that Zamarat Mining control in a JV with Mexivada Mining corp, is now back on the field. The experienced geologist team is presently evaluating our 100% controlled Ngouaka-Bangadi-Mingassa and Riviere Bambounga gold eluvial and placer systems for rapid start-up of simple gravity-recovery gold and lode gold mines in 2011 in the ROC Congo (Brazzaville).
The projects are centered on the Archean Mayoko Greenstone Belt, a past producer of alluvial gold and large gem diamonds. More than 33,600 ounces of alluvial gold, including a 1 kilogram gold nugget, were recovered after World War II (Avoine Mining, a French company) from Mexivada’s exclusive Malambani concession area at Mayoko. Recently, a new “gold rush” has begun adjoining our Malambani concession where up to 1,500 artisanal miners were exploiting placer gold deposits near Moussondji.
This area is also the place of extensive exploration program from Iron company (DMC mining, Equatorial Resources). All necessary infrastructures (road, airstrip,…) will be developed on site for a mutual benefit of the companies.
